Tashjian Insurance Agency started in Pasadena with Vahram Tashjian as the sole producer. In October 1991, Viken B. Tashjian joined the agency as Vice President with responsibilities in the management of the Personal Insurance division, and production of Business , Personal and Health insurance. In 2008, Viken B. Tashjian was named President and Chief Operating Officer of the Agency.

The agency moved to its current location at 510 S. Grand Ave., #310, Glendora, CA 91741 on November 1, 2022.

The agency markets its insurance products through the following higly rated carriers: Allied Insurance Group, Blue Shield of California, Anthem Blue Cross, Employers Insurance Group, GuideOne Insurance Group, Hanover Insurance Group, Liberty Mutual insurance Group, LIG Insurance Group, , Pennsylvania Lumbermans Mutual Insurance, Philadelphia Insurance Group, Travelers Insurance Group and Titan Insurance.
